Thomas A. Day is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Portrait Homes, Inc. With his vast experience in construction and business management, Mr. Day provides strategic leadership to Portrait.

Mr. Day’s business and management acumen is grounded in his involvement with numerous successful enterprises. Currently semi-retired, Mr. Day keeps active by managing and overseeing numerous real estate holdings and adding to his classic car collection.

Thomas A. Day, Jr. is President of Portrait Homes. For the past 20 years Mr. Day has been responsible for the management and general contracting operations for Portrait. Mr. Day is an expert in all phases of developing and managing single family housing, multi-family housing and senior housing projects.

Under Mr. Day’s leadership Portrait has become one of the leading names in apartment rehabilitation/restoration and affordable apartment construction.

Bruce Abbey is the Vice-President of Portrait Homes. He has the overall responsibility for promoting growth and generating business opportunities. His duties include collaboration with the executive team on strategies and acquisitions, oversight of projects and client liaison.

Mr. Abbey’s background is in home building and land development. From 1981 through 1992, Mr. Abbey worked for Bramalea California, Inc. of Irvine, California. As Vice-President of Operations he led and managed the construction and purchasing departments.

Mr. Abbey holds a B.S. in Building Construction from Michigan State University and is a Licensed General Building Contractor.

Avinash Shah is the Chief Financial Officer for Portrait Homes. His duties include corporate administration, strategic planning, corporate finance and oversight of land acquisition and development.

His specialty is in financial forecasting, tax planning and project finance. Before joining Portrait Homes, Mr. Shah was a Senior Manager at Soren Mcadams Bartell, one of the region’s leading accounting firms.

Mr. Shah holds a B.S. in Accounting from California State University, San Bernardino and is a certified accountant (inactive).
